Fee Comparison — All Agents

Service fees are the most-compared metric. The 0% agents (ACBuy, CNFans, KakoBuy) don't charge a percentage on item value — they earn on shipping commissions instead. On a ¥3,000 haul, the difference between 0% and 5% is about ¥150 ($21). Real money over a year of buying, but shipping line selection usually matters more.

How to Choose an Agent

The agent decision comes down to three things: fees, storage time, and how comfortable you are with less documentation. The fee difference between 0% and 5% on a typical ¥300 item is about ¥15 — real money over a year of buying, but not the most important factor on any single order.

Storage time matters more if you consolidate. Pandabuy offered 180 days; most current agents give 90. ACBuy only gives 30 days free — factor that in if you accumulate orders over several weeks before shipping. For buyers who ship every order individually as it arrives, the storage difference is irrelevant.

Community documentation is the thing most first-time buyers underestimate. When an order goes wrong — wrong item, damaged in transit, QC issue — having a well-documented agent with responsive English support is worth more than saving ¥15 in fees. That's why ACBuy and Superbuy are recommended starting points despite not having the absolute best fee structures.

FAQ — Choosing the Right Agent
ACBuy, CNFans and KakoBuy all charge 0% service fees on most transactions. They earn via shipping line commissions instead. ACBuy is the most widely used 0% agent in the rep community. Note that ACBuy's free storage is only 30 days, shorter than the 90 days offered by most other agents.
Pandabuy faced operational issues in 2024 that led many buyers to migrate to alternatives. AllChinaBuy, CNFans and KakoBuy absorbed a significant share of the former Pandabuy community. Pandabuy itself still operates but community activity has shifted considerably. Most rep spreadsheets now document ACBuy and CNFans as primary agents.
Superbuy or ACBuy. Superbuy has the most polished English interface and the most developed support documentation — worth the fee premium when you're learning the process. ACBuy is the better pick once you're comfortable with the basics and want to minimise fees. Avoid the smaller agents (LoongBuy, TangBuy, ParcelUp) until you have experience — the support documentation is thinner.
Most do. All the established agents (ACBuy, CNFans, Superbuy, AllChinaBuy, KakoBuy, Sugargoo) support Taobao, Weidian and 1688. Some smaller agents have limited 1688 support. Check the individual agent guide for confirmed platform support before ordering from a new source.

Storage Time — What the Differences Mean in Practice

Most agents offer 90 days of free storage — enough for buyers who consolidate over several weeks or months before shipping. ACBuy is the main exception at 30 days, which suits buyers who ship each order immediately. Pandabuy historically offered 180 days, which attracted consolidation-heavy buyers; most of its successor agents have moved to 90 days as the standard.

If you're building a haul over 2–3 months — common for buyers who place multiple small orders across different sellers — 90 days is comfortable. For anything longer, you need to either pay storage extension fees or plan your haul timeline around the agent's free storage limit.

One underrated factor: how does the agent handle items that fail QC? The best agents let you return items to the seller before approving international shipment. This is standard for the major agents but less reliable for some of the smaller alternatives. Always confirm the QC dispute process before committing a large haul to an unfamiliar agent.
